However, Joy lacks a crucial feature: the ability to build a loyalty program using native Shopify store credit.
The only way to reward store credit is through Shopify Flow, but it is restrictive.

According to Rivo, each subscription includes comprehensive statistics, configurable branding choices, and loyalty and referral programs. Rivo states that they have store credit-based loyalty. However, we could not find any settings to enable this.
It seems that Rivo's integration with Shopify Flow is the only way to award shop credit, which is again constraining.

Smile states that they provide a loyalty page, on-site reminders, a points program, a referral program, reports, basic and sophisticated customization possibilities, a VIP program, and multiple integrations. However, aside from the basic points and referral systems, all essential features require a paid subscription.
Smile makes no mention of setting up a credit-based reward program for native Shopify stores. We too could not find any settings to enable this within the app.
BON Loyalty Rewards Program
BON emphasises that it provides a points-based system, VIP and referral programs, Shopify POS integration, email notifications, a loyalty page, and multi-language support (250+ languages in higher plans).
BON makes no mention of store credit rewards or the potential for establishing a loyalty program based on store credit. Additionally, similar to Smile, we were unable to find this feature in the app.
