How to set it up
Step 1: Select a template
Pick one of our templates to save time. Simply tailor it to your requirements, and you're ready to go!
Step 2: Add your social media platforms
Start off by adding links to your social media pages. Click on the icon component, and on the right side, you'll see a list of platforms with editing options.
If there’s a platform you don’t need, simply remove it. To add a new one, scroll to the bottom and click Add platform.
You’ll also need to upload an icon when adding a new platform. You can use your own design, pick one from our built-in stock library, or generate one with the social media icon generator. Once that’s done, just check that all links are correct, and move to the next step.
Step 3: Choose the placement
Now, it’s time to decide where your widget will appear on your site. To do this, you’ll need a CSS selector. Don’t worry if you’re not sure how to find it — there’s a step-by-step guide on the settings page to help you out.
Once you have the selector, you also need to choose the placement. This determines exactly where on the page your widget will be displayed.
Before finishing up, make sure everything works as expected. Click the Test widget button to see how it looks and functions on your site. If everything looks good, you're all set!
Step 4: Configure the display rules
For embedded widgets, you can define where and to whom they will be shown. You can set locations, specific pages, and devices where the widget should appear. If you want it to be visible on all pages, for all users, and in all locations, simply leave the default settings as they are — no changes needed.
Step 5: Integrate with your marketing tools
If you want to track interactions, you can connect Google Analytics to monitor clicks. Once that’s set up, you’re ready to go! Just hit Publish, and your widget will go live.
