How to set it up

Step 1: Select a template

Go ahead and select the click-to-call widget template. When starting, make sure to enable the launcher. You will need it later in the display rules.

Step 2: Customize the template

Change the profile picture in the chat and the name of the representative. Click on the image, and you’ll find the option to replace the image in the right sidebar. We advise using a real picture of someone from your team to establish trust.

To change the text, simply double-click on the text field. Now, all that’s left is to update the phone number and configure the button. Click on the button and enter the phone number in the format tel: +18143008184.

Step 3: Set the display rules

We recommend using the call widget teaser for an optimal user experience. The teaser can be placed across the entire site without disrupting usage, allowing users to initiate the chat whenever they choose.

Alternatively, you can set up a time or scroll trigger to run alongside the teaser. The chat widget will appear as users scroll or after a set amount of time, prompting them to start a conversation with a representative. Users will also have the option to reopen the widget using the launcher.

Step 4: Integrate marketing tools

Integrate Google Analytics if you want to collect additional statistics.

Step 5: Publish the widget and launcher

Go ahead and publish the widget together with the launcher.
